skin texture
« on: April 04, 2018, 04:29:47 PM »
Hello!

I'm completely new to Agisoft. I have managed to create a 3D mesh for a head from a series of jpegs. The texture of the skin and facial features isn't very realistic. The hair and jumper look amazing. How would I make the skin and facial features look more realistic?

The attached image is from before the mesh was created.

Thanks for any help :)

Hi!

Here is some tips;

Use a camera with a big sensor. More pixels means more details. Use as low ISO as possible. Use as fast shutterspeed as possible (more than 1/125). Use as high apertur as possible (more than f11). Do not use taget that moves. Not even a little bit. Shot outdoors on a cloudy day. Shoot from different angel. Shoot in RAW format. Compensate for the lens in photoshop or Lightroom, or likewise. Export in *.tiff. Mask your photos.

Some tips I learn on the way. Attached is a training doll for Surgeons

Best regards
