Sketchfab resolution
« on: September 21, 2017, 12:29:03 AM »
I have imported a few models into sketchfab to make them accessible to my students. The resultant models do not have the same photographic resolution as when I view them in photoscan. Am I inadvertently lowing the resolution along the way?  Is there a setting that I should adjust? I am exporting .OBJ and zipping a folder with .jpeg .obj and . mtl and uploading that via the sketchfab interface rather than a direct upload to sketchfab (I get an error every time I try this).
Thanks!

Hi andersundell,
Sketchfab has a page about viewer performance that has some good information on what works best for web viewing on their system. Here's the link:

https://help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/201766675-Viewer-Performance

If you don't want to read through the whole thing, there is a conclusion towards the bottom of the page that sums it up.
