Set camera distance for dual camera rig
« on: October 09, 2017, 08:03:42 PM »
I'm using two cameras mounted on a bar. I'm mostly scanning archaelogical sites and I feel that this dual camera rig gives me slight robustness in camera-alignment. Is there a way to tell photoscan (standard) the distance of the two cameras/cameragroups? Would there be benefit in aligning process if photoscan 'knew' the distance of two cameragroups? Many thanks!

It is possible to select two cameras, right-click and create a scale bar.

Hello saha,

In the version 1.4 of PhotoScan it would be possible to load the data from the camera rig in a way similar to the multispectral cameras and allow PhotoScan to estimate the distances between the cameras in the rig automatically.

Hi Alexey,

Just curious if this is a Pro feature or will be in both versions?

Nevermind, I see it  is in the changelog for 1.4 as a Pro feature.
