Export Model Confidence?

Is it possible to export Model Confidence values as vertex colors? Via python or otherwise?

I see that this has been added in 1.6.4. Can you consider allowing to export this as straight up Vertex Color too?

Currently I'm not sure how to take advantage of this without parsing the exported file manually (and moving the values to the r g b).
