Detecting markers with IFRAO Scales
« on: October 07, 2017, 02:10:20 AM »
Hello

I have used multiple markers and scales and have always been detected with no problems.
Recently, I had to work with IFRAO scales (cross non coded) and realized that only three markers are detected, always around the gray rectangle and always the same corners. Can anyone explain me why?

thank you

Hello martinho.lourenco,

Non-coded cross target detection method assumes that the opposite sectors are of the same color - two white and two black.

From your screenshot it cannot be said that the markers are detected by PhotoScan, since they have custom labels instead of default labels that are given by automatic target detection procedure ("target 1", "target 2" and etc.) Also automatically found targets are marked with unpinned markers (blue flags).

Note that non-coded target detection is possible only on the aligned image sub-set.
