I have used a trial key to unlock, I can export meshes fine, with obj a mtl file is also generated, however there are no texture files (JPG, BMP). Is this to be expected or am I missing something?

Hello Peabody2017,

At first the texture should be generated (using Build Texture option in the Workflow menu) and then in the Export Model dialog you need to choose Save Texture option, providing that the selected mesh export format supports texture.

Thanks - sorted my problem. I didn't know I had to build a texture separately. I assumed the texture exported directly with the mesh as there appears to be a texture on the mesh in the viewport.
