Lidar point cloud and Photoscan point cloud

I have some questions regarding usage of Lidar point cloud.

1. Is it possible to add Lidar point cloud to Photoscan as additional data?
2. Is it possible to align Photoscan dense point cloud and lidar point cloud?

Seems in Photoscan 1.4.0 you can create duplicate of chunk and then load lidar .las point cloud to project as dense point cloud and then merge chunks to see lidar point cloud and and Photoscan dense point cloud simultaneously, but points clouds not aligned.

In the latest update of 1.4.0 pre-release we have introduced the point cloud import option, however, currently it doesn't allow to merge the imported cloud with the existing one.

Are there any problems with the point cloud that you import apart from the current impossibility of merging?

How this point cloud can be used? just for viewing?
