cancelling batch process
« on: December 21, 2017, 09:39:22 PM »
Hi all,
I made the mistake of not selecting "save after each step" in a batch processing run, and now I'm wondering if I click cancel, whether I'll lose all the processing that has completed to this point.  Running Pro.  Thanks.

Hello weissspice,

I think that you will loose only the current stage results, whereas all the previous competed stages would be unaffected, so you should be able to save the project result at the current step.

Oh thank goodness.  I did a quick test run on a small chunk, and indeed, the data for the completed steps were retained.
Thanks again!

Hey Weissspice,

As Alexey mentioned you would only lose the current step. This happened to me multiple times and I haven't lost the entire project. Once you cancel it however make sure  you save it instantly because if you don't and close your project you will lose it all.
