simple question - strange object

Hi,

I tried to picture my little girl tiger, 46 pictures total. And I got this strange black object over the model, its strange because its simmetrical like a hat and I can see the tiger below it.

What I did wrong? How can I remove this object from the scene? Thanks

Yes, those things happen sometimes. I think they are due to Photoscan trying to create a more complete mesh even where there are no points. You can just select and delete those parts of the mesh.

P.S.: Cleaning up your sparse point cloud after photo alignment before creating the final geometry might also help.

Did you try with different parameters, for example Geometry type "Sharp" instead of "Smooth"?
