Fastest Hardware Configuration
« on: November 07, 2012, 05:39:56 PM »
Hello.

I am trying to find a solution for fastest machine for PhotoScan to decrease computing time. I have found various setups for one machine but it's possible to use multiple machines like one to compute (render)? Something like render farm?

Thanks for help.

Hello JozefP. Currently is it not possible, AGISOFT team is working on it, but it take some time that is ready for production. Network solution is complicated to create, its a lot of code rewriting......

Thanks Wishgranter!
That's a shame because it makes it impossible to save some time which cost money. Is there any other solution to build a really fast machine for PhotoScan or just buy some dual or quad sixcore with 64 - 256GB RAM and GTX card?

Thanks

It depened on amount of projects you will process, sometimes is better to use services here to get it done - its cheaper as buing own machine ( 6.000 - xx.xxx EUR ) How much project you will need to process in next 6 months ?
