Use LAS Point Cloud to constrain Workflow
« on: April 04, 2018, 05:07:47 PM »
I'm currently testing v1.4.1 Demo version and had a quick question.

Is it possible to constrain the workflow with an imported LAS file to essentially aid in building the Dense Point Cloud?  One issue I had was that others format do not have a header for datum assignment, so the Dense Cloud imports as Local Coordinates.  My LAS is in NAD83 (4269).  When I import the LAS, I get the error of unsupported data format.  I get this error when importing a DEM *.tif as well.  No sure if this is a bug with the Demo version.

I'm essentially trying to use a point cloud or DEM to aid the building of the dense point cloud.  Other photogrammetry software can do this.  I have used Simactive Correlator 3D for this.
