how are the different parameters defined?
« on: January 23, 2018, 09:20:24 AM »
    Good Morning.

I have severeal questions about different parameters of aligning photos, building dense clouds and meshes. Important is, how these parameters are defined mathematically.

    • tie points
    • key points
    • gradual selection
    • calibration parameters
    • Reprojection error, Projection accuracy
    • Reconstruction uncertainty

    • tie points
I read, that the tie points are calulated from the key points. But in what way?
    • key points
In what way does the program calculate these points?
    • gradual selection
In which way are the different factors calculated?
    • calibration parameters
what is b1,b2, k1-4, p1-4 and what is the definition, what is the specification of k/p 1,2,3,4?
    • Reprojection error, Projection accuracy
what is the mathematical definition of these factors?
    • Reconstruction uncertainty
what is the mathematical definition of this factor?

I would be very thankful, if anyone would be able to answer these questions.
