boolean mask for texturing
« on: November 09, 2012, 05:09:25 PM »
hi,

i work with photoscan in my office and i have a little request for the texturing. (and first, sorry for my very bad english)

it would be very useful to be able to draw selections of masks for texture.
For exemple we can draw a green zone on images to force photoscan to use it as texture, a red zone than would exclude photoscan, and the rest we let photoscan choose.

we have this solution to make panoramic images in PTGui for exemple. I don't know how it's difficult to develop this but and it's really fundamental

what do you think?

thanks

Hello flomoa,

Thank you for the idea, currently we are considering absolutely the same mask approach for masks in PhotoScan.
