Hi guys,
I have to scan a relatively small area of a Gallery (a big semi-all white space).
My area is horseshoe shaped.
My first attempt was a total mess, Second one slightly better, but still useless.
The biggest doubt form me is the path you've to follow to scan an area like that.
I've proceded with a tripod and a 24 and started taking pictures looking at the chair ( but the chair weren't there) and going to the right and than making my first (imo) error, moving the tripod 90 degrees to the left and then continue going to the right. So basically the software didnt' know what was before. So I circumnavigated the area always looking straight in front of me. I know it's difficult to understand and hard for me to explain...
Agisoft processed not every pictures , right and left side weren't processed i guess because he couldn't understand were they come from and floor and the ceiling were missing.
Do I have to take 3 pictures on every single camera position with a bigger lens, like 35, having:
1 shot: -45° looking to the floor
2 shot: 0° straight
3 shot: +45° looking to the ceiling
To have like rings in agisoft, or have just one shot with more room in your frame? And How about details? Am I allowed to enter at the center of the space and taking detailed pictures of, let's say the radiator or the wall?
Thanks!
