Restarting from scratch

After completing processing imagery all the way up to making the mesh, if I want to change a few parameters and start all over again, if I just start the picture alignment, I think Photoscan will use the previous model and not start from scratch. If so, how do you start without the previous model? I know I have read it in the manual, but I cannot figureout where I saw it. Thanks

Hello 3DWinter,

To re-align the cameras from scratch in already existing project you need to check on "Reset Current Alignment" option in the Align Photos dialog.

Thank you Alexy for this information.  But the Align Photos Box does not ( as much as I can see) have the Reset Current Alignment toggle. Instead, from some further research, it seems by selecting the images you can right click and there one can select Reset Current Alignment. But this is a bit clunky, and not intuitive if it was built in the Align Photos Box. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello 3DWinter,

Seems that you are using version 1.3, whereas "Reset current alignment" option has been added to the Align Photos dialog only in the version 1.4.0.

However, running Align Photos operation discards current alignment in the version 1.3 and new tie point cloud would be created.

If reset camera alignments will that mess up the ground control that i have tagged in those images?

The projections of the markers will be kept on the images, even if you reset the alignment or remove the tie point cloud completely.
