Problem with photo alignment
« on: February 25, 2018, 06:23:18 PM »
Hey guys,

As the title of topic says, I am having big problems with photo alignment, which I don't know how to solve. I was just wondering, is there any chance that I stitch(align) photos in some other software than AgiSoft, and than somehow import that aligned photos in the AgiSoft and finish the procedure of making orthomosaic? Or if anyone can suggest some other way to solve this problem?

Thank you in advance,

Nikola

And I would also like to add one more question. Is there any way to finish ortomosaic without GCPs, and then to import let say shape file with GCPs into ortomosaic and then just add control points directly onto ortomosaic and update it with GCPs. I know it sounds confusing, but this would be of a great help for me if it works, because I have more than 1000 kms of orthomosaic to make, and exporting GCPs from point cloud and importing it in the AgiSoft just takes me so much time, which is running very fast.

Thank you in advance one more time,

Nikola

Hi Nikola993,

GCPs need to be/should be included early on in the photogrammetric modelling process. They also help with photo alignment.

Can you please share your processing report or some more details on your current workflow so we can try to help you?
