Hello treeboyy,

Currently this format is not supported. We would consider the implementation of the format support, if you can provide some references to the format description/specification.

Hi, thanks Alexey, .glb  is a binary container for .gltf or GL Transfer File and is what Facebook will read to natively post 3D models in ones timeline.

the Specifications for .glb and .gltf can be found here "here"

"Here" is a Facebook Developer news article discussing the adoption of .gltf 2.0

"Here" is an image overview of gltf

I posted this in the General forum but I thought perhaps this would be a better spot. Any plans for glTF 2.0 export support so we can post directly into FB timeline?

Just tried https://www.vectary.com - uploaded a .3ds with a small texture exported from Agisoft - It worked and then drag and drop the .glb into facebook - worked great, now I need to learn how to orientate it properly.

glTF export format has been added in the version 1.5.0.

QubitsToy, the orientation of the exported model should fit the orientation of the model in the Metashape window (in the Model view). If your model doesn't have any referencing information, you can adjust the orientation of the model prior to the export using Rotate Object instrument located on the toolbar.
