Running Photoscan on Ubuntu?
« on: March 04, 2018, 01:55:17 AM »
Trying to run Photoscan on Ubuntu via Windows RDP connection to AWS EC2 instance.  The licence key popup comes up but the keyboard isn't mapped right.  When I execute photoscan from a terminal window:

sh photoscan.sh

I get "XKEYBOARD extension is not present on the X Server"

What I'm guessing is Amazon's instructions for setting up Windows RDP for Ubuntu isn't compatible with using it to remotely run Photoscan.  Anyone know what I need to do to get this working?

These were the instructions I followed:  https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/connect-to-ubuntu-1604-windows/
