What is the overlapping method of PS?

Hi Alexey,

Just a few questions for my understanding:

What is actually the way or the method to handle or calculate overlaps using Agisoft PS – Does the algorithm use a kind of nearest neighbor, bi-cubic or just mean? Please, open the black box here or let me know where to find information about it.

I need this information to correctly retrieve surface brightness temperature using thermal IR data.
What error would you assume for overlapping method? Is there somewhere a statistical overview?
