Textured model is blobby?
« on: March 31, 2018, 04:50:13 AM »
Hi, I am new to PhotoScan and scanned my first model the other day. I have a 18MP Canon DSLR and kept the zoom at the same setting the whole time, kept my shutter speed to about 100 or less, ISO 100, Aperture at the lowest setting and put the images in PhotoScan at high settings, after a few hours or so it was done and the textures looked blobby or sticking out and blurry.

Why is this?

What is the correct way to make the textures?

Thanks

was the camera calibrated?
what is you lens' lowest aperture setting?
how many images?
how far from the subject?
did you optimise the alignment?
what filtering option did you use for the dense cloud generation?
