Export point cloud to PDF?
« on: December 04, 2012, 03:20:27 PM »
Is it possible to export the point cloud/cameras after the photo alignment into a PDF?

Thanks
Martin

Hello Martin,

Point cloud export to PDF is not supported by PhotoScan.

Too bad, that's what I wanted to ask also. It would be nice if this would go. Because it would be unable to present the only way large tunnel systems. Composed of more than 1000 photos (21 megapixel photos). It would be great to be able to convert the point cloud as a PDF.

Greats

Hello Sven,

We'll try to add sparse point cloud export to PDF support. But for now you can use export to OBJ/PLY, for example, and open these point cloud models in MeshLab or any other viewer.
Alternatively, if you have reconstructed models geometry you can export it in PDF and switch view to the vertices only.
