Sparse Cloud is Better than Dense Cloud
« on: April 23, 2018, 05:31:20 PM »
I created a sparse cloud that looked like a good representation of my object. I then ran the dense cloud on medium. It resulted in only a small region of the object being reconstructed.

General Workflow

1. Manually select about 16 points across my images for alignment
2.Align my images and create a sparse cloud. All of the images appeared in the correct places completely encircling my object. This generated about 19,000 points with about 80 images
3. Run a dense cloud on medium. This resulted in about 25,000 points concentrated in only a few regions of the object.
