Missing photos
« on: April 24, 2018, 07:11:14 PM »
Hi,

I've aligned my photos from a set i took in a turntable setup and half of them are missing (only 30). Photoscan used to have the manual marker setup but i can't find that on the current version.

what is the general process people use if camera won't be used?

p.s I'm aware this is a problem thats probably been raised here countless times before and i apologies for that but the search engine in the forum did yield anything (probably I'm using the wrong keywords) and 10 pages back of the general section i gave up.

Hi!
in my experience photo's don't align properly when you don't have sufficient tie points. This can result from insufficient overlap or pictures with homogeneous areas (e.g. water). You can try to run the alignment with higher settings or use control points, probably what you refer to as the manual marker set up? Check the manuals for a starting point perhaps?

Good luck!

Hello brrarmboolay,

Are you using masks to cover the static background?

Also can you post the overview of the images that you are using?
