PS UI stops working

Hello,

after creating a DEM (or ortho) and choosing it in the workspace pane, the UI stops working, i.e. icon disappear, the DEM (or ortho) just does not appear.

If I click again on tie points or dense cloud, and then again on DEM (or ortho), the DEM (or ortho) appears, but no interaction is possible with the image.  Icons continue gone.

Please check image.

My system specifications also as image.

Hello Patribus,

I assume that there's something with the graphic card driver. Try clean driver install directly from the NVIDIA web-site.

Also you can try the following workaround:

adding --opengl angle to the shorcut did it.

Does the change have some effect on the performance?

Hello Patrick,

It shouldn't affect the processing performance.

But the visualization of the high-poly models may be slower. Also it wouldn't be possible to use hardware stereo option.

The thing is, i do not remember when the problem appeared, if with the latest PS update or the NVIDIA update. Are you aware about where the problem might lie?

Well, I hope that bug is fixed in future upgrades.

We were not able to reproduce the issue on our test configurations. But the problem usually appears on Windows 10 systems with NVIDIA graphic cards (I saw the user reports from PhotoScan 1.3.x and 1.4.x, so don't think it is PhotoScan-related problem).
