Photoscan crashes after update

I am working on a large landscape project (5700 photos) and generated a medium quality dense cloud using version 1.4.0. Now that I have updated to 1.4.2 the same project not only crashes Photoscan but takes down my entire system with it. I am running Photoscan Pro on a MacPro with 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM and 2 AMD FirePro500 with 3GB each. While the RAM is a bit on the low side, this configuration has not let me down so far, so I suspect there is some sort of bug in the latest
 update.

Hello T.Kahlert,

Usually OS crashing is related to the driver or hardware issues. But can you please enable write log to file option in the General Preferences of PhotoScan, then reproduce the issue and send the log to us (post here to submit to support@agisoft.com)?

Also please provide the screenshot of GPU preferences tab and specify, if you are observing the issues at random stages or at some certain steps and in the latter case if it happens only on GPU-supported tasks?
