Nice to have features
« on: December 23, 2012, 01:17:11 PM »
After working in some few large projects I saw need for few nice to have features:

- Bounding box option to display only points within it. In large dense point cloud it can be tricky to select correct area.

- Some kind of grouping photos in sets/folders, and option to enable/disable view/hide those groups. It would save a lot of time working on really large projects with few thousands photos.

- Copy/move selected photos to chunk

- Option to invert mouse wheel

- Decrease polygons display while moving/rotating mesh. It would make big meshes move smoothly

- Decimation for given resolution not only polygon numbers.

- Custom keyboard shortcuts

i agree, decimation based on a some defining parameters such as avg point spacing, etc. would be useful. Currently I have to export a point cloud, decimate to avg spacing and mesh in cloud compare. It would be convenient to do this all in PS.

I'd love to be able to organise my photos into sets/folders within each chunk right now!
