What is the best approach for importing GPS Location and IMU Orientation data into Photoscan?

If the info is already written in photos header, (exif/xmp metadata) you just need to enable the reading of such records during photo loading in preferences.
If you had obtained camera centers and yaw pitch roll form a third party in the form of a list, just import the list by means of the import function in reference panel. You can use text format containing filename, longitude/easting, latitude/northing, elevation, yaw/omega, pitch/phi, roll/kappa and optionally estimated accuracy for each.
