Can't see model, mesh or dense cloud
« on: July 16, 2018, 11:39:37 AM »
Hi there,

Just finished computing my model but unfortunately I can't see it, the dense cloud/mesh/tiled model

I have tried going to reference, clearing longitude, latitude etc. and then reset transform which appears to have helped users in the past, however no luck in my case. I'm a student so have to use my university's version 1.41 build 5925

Any ideas why my model is so shy?

Hello vespertinelle,

Have you tried to press Reset View button on the Model's pane toolbar after applying the previous steps?

Sorry it's just in the midst of processing something else so I can't double check the name but is that the circular blue arrows near the top of the reference pane? If so, yes

Hello vespertinelle,

There's Reset View button on the main program toolbar - next to zoom in/out buttons.

Update button on the Reference pane applies the available reference information. If you have cleared out the coordinate information it should give you "not enough reference data" error.

I don't think I have tried that one, will give it a try and report back once I'm done processing this job. Thanks

Hello vespertinelle,

Maybe then you can re-save the project with the alignment results only in PSZ format (PhotoScan Archive) and send it to support@agisoft.com?
Is it correct that you cannot see the sparse cloud neither?

Hello vespertinelle,

Thank you for sharing the project file.

It looks like there are many incorrectly aligned cameras in the problematic chunk, so the default view contains the huge area. I was able, however, to zoom it to the area of reconstruction - at first I double-clicked in the area where the main reconstruction has been performed (where the bounding box is situated) and then just zoomed in, until the dense cloud is displayed in proper scale.

But I suggest to solve the bad alignment issues, before proceeding further with this project. For me it also looks strange, that many images have different resolution, it may be a result of camera auto-cropping function.
