Error(pix)
« on: August 27, 2018, 11:29:00 AM »
Hello,
sometimes is Error(m) very good (1mm), but error(pix) for the same point is not good (>30pix). Did someone knows why is that?

Thanks

Hi Ugo !

Do you talk about a marker ?
If yes :
- Error in pixel represent the error between the projections of the point on the pictures it was set. 30 pixels error means that your marker isn't well triangulated at all.
- Error in meter represent the error between the coordinates you entered in the marker's panel and the coordinates calculated during bundle block adjustment. Such a little error can come either from luck (really small probability), from too small 'a priori' accuracy of your markers (small probability), or the most probability is that you have only a few markers that it's really easy to fit the model on the entered coordinates during BBA.

Regards

P.S. In you need more information or if this answer doesn't fit your problem, please attached some screen shot of your model and th marker's panel
