How to setup Network Processing using only TWO PCs?
« on: September 28, 2018, 08:42:53 AM »
Hi:

I have two Photoscan licenses on both PCs.
Is there a way to setup network processing using only two PCs?
(i.e. I want both PCs be a processing node and one PC be both "Server" and "Client" role)

In the Agisoft manual diagram stated that in order to utilize network processing,
one should have at least three PCs.

But I want one of the PC act as both "Server" and "Client".
Is it possible to do this setup?
Thanks in advanced.

Hello AK_C,

You can run server and node instances on the same machine (just do it from different OS terminal windows), also PhotoScan can be opened in GUI mode (client role that sends the task to the processing) can be run on any of your two machines.
