Preferences - GPU - Crash
« on: September 17, 2018, 08:23:18 AM »
Hello!
I have this rather annoying issue.
Everytime I try to go to "Tools" -  "Preferences" and then click on "GPU" it instantly crashes.
Point is, that I want to use my GPU for the processing bit, not the CPU.  People have said, that GPU is a lot faster.
---
Any suggestions? I have a friend with an Acer laptop, I have Dell, with the same PC specs that I have. He does not run into any problems.
Also.
- Updated GPU
- Tried to open angle

Hello Andreas,
The issue could be related to the Intel graphics drivers installed by OS for some reason. Usually using Display Driver Uninstaller utility solves the problem, if you use it to remove Intel graphics drivers only.

Ahoi!

Many thanks! It actually worked. Wouldn't have come to the solution myself.

Thanks again.

Best wishes,
Andreas
