Is it possible to implement this by Python programming?

Hello zView,

In the current version of PhotoScan such functionality is not accessible even using Python scripting.

We've added this feature to the request list, but it wouldn't be in our short term plans, as the feature would be demanded only in some special cases, but would require a lot of disk space to store all the feature point information for large datasets.

Idea for photo allignment after more photos added
« Reply #3 on: May 13, 2017, 05:59:59 PM »
Hi, i'm a student using latest photoscan pro trial.
I'm experimenting on a project with about 300 photos at 24mpix

If i add more photos a new allign process is needed, during which the most time consuming part is the Photo Matching one, which based on my understanding it's the part where omologue points from different photos are computed.

Wouldn't be a nice thing if there were the choice to keep previous found matches and look for matches with only the new photos loaded? After this it's obvious that the actual "allign", where cameras are placed in space, must be computed for each photo and not only the new added ones.
