UI. Blue cameras placeholders, replaced with thumbnail of photographs (or setting to turn on or off)

As the title suggest.

Similar to other photogrammetry applications, instead of just blue rectangle placeholders for camera placement, perhaps an option to graphically replace with mini thumbnails of the actual photographs? This can be very useful for many reasons.

1) Aesthetics, Visually looks pleasing.

2) Bug fixing anything to do with the scene, camera alignment (customers and clients would love this)

3) helps to identify certain images easily and quickly

This idea is combined with this feature request also - > http://www.agisoft.ru/forum/index.php?topic=980.0

Great idea, would be really good for finding bugs in the modelled scene. Sometimes I would find the blue placeholders better for clarity, so the turn on/off option would be optimal.

...it would be nice if you could also scale those thumbnails by a bar - instead of just turning cameras on/off.

Yes, scalable placeholders/thumbnails would be even better!

Maybe also then an option similar to the current 'reset view' but with the same field of view as the camera and the photo thumbnail enlarged to fill the view and partly/variably transparent so you can check (and maybe adjust) alignment that way.

I can see wanting it, but I'd also like to be able to stick with the current blue squares. When checking for alignment/height issues possibly relating to geotagging it's very convenient to just see blue squares.

Perhaps a viewport visual tick box would be a solve? blue or thumbnails. Having thumbnails like this would also be very powerful for 4D video, if they could also animate as they do in the photos window anyway.

Photo thumbnails for cameras instead of blue boxes in model view

When I am trying to check alignment of images in model view...it would be helpful to display thumbnails of the image instead of blue boxes for each of the individual cameras.

+1 on this: having a choice between both modes would be great.

Best regards.

I also suggested this new feature in my post "Photo thumbnails for cameras instead of blue boxes in model view". I am happy the idea is getting some traction!
