Hi Alexey,

thank you for the clarification.....

So For Photo-invariant parameters option would it not be better to use instead Photo-variant parameters as in this case a different parameter will be estimated for each photo?

Using this option, where can we find  the adjusted Photo Invariant (Variant) parameter for each image?
Best Regards,

Hello Paul,

You can see the values of "photo-invariant parameters" for each photo in the bottom frame with the images list in the Camera Calibration dialog.

Alexey, I reinforce my last message about dense clouds. They are now better than in version PS1.4.4 by using max parameters and the Mild filter. It's not noticeable by direct comparision but it's very noticeable when we generate a DEM from it. The DEM is just perfect! Please do not "fine tune" more these parameters  :)
Optimize Coverage does need some tuning, perhaps make it a little more tolerant to allow a few more overlap. I guess that this can be related to the fact that some pictures can be slightly oblique and will not ensure enough overlap if some neighbor ones are eliminated from calculation.

Hello jnb,

Can you please provide the log from the Console pane related to the failed texturing operation and also the information regarding the source image bands?

Also please specify, if the model has been generated from the same set of images or the pictures have been replaced by modified image set?

Hi Alexey,

Here is the log, with two attemps, one for the texture, one for the tiled model, both failed with the same message.
The images are 8bits tif (only RGB) converted from 14bits DNG, and have not been replaced.

Thank you for looking into it !

Hello jnb,

Is it also possible to attach any image from this set or send an image example from the project to support@agisoft.com?

Hi, i tried to Align a chunk of 1200 fotos from DJI inspire 2 with X5S with metashape. At the end of the process of alignment it gave me an error that it couldn't align all the photos. So when i checked the sparse cloud, only 1/3 of the photos where aligned.
Today i tried the same batch of photos with photoscan 1.4.4 with the same settings and it aligned all the photos?

Is there something different i need to change in metashape to obtain the same results relative to the aligment?

Same batch of 600 fotos on another PC with metashape v7336, same settings

Some fotos not possible to align (same error message as before)
But it aligned a different area of photos from the other PC with metashape v7336

Hello FOSI,

Can you please re-save the latest project with only a small subset of images aligned in PSZ format (Metashape Archive file format in Save As dialog) and send it to support@agisoft.com, we'll check what might be the issue. In case you have the same project properly aligned with PhotoScan Pro 1.4, please also send the second project.
