Importing metadata from OpenEXR files
« on: October 10, 2018, 11:47:26 PM »
I am importing OpenEXR (*.exr) image files into my PhotoScan projects. However, the relevant camera EXIF metadata (FocalLength, Model, etc.) is not being read. The OpenEXR format supports metadata via its "attributes", but I don't know what attribute names to use that PhotoScan might recognize. Is there a way for me to get EXIF metadata imported into PhotoScan from OpenEXR files?

Thanks for any help!

My experience has been that Photoscan simply reads the same meta data that any other image editing software reads. So if photoshop shows the focal length in the meta data Photoscan will read the exact same thing.

Have you double checked that the meta data is readable in a different image editing program?

Hello sprung,

Can you send an example of such OpenEXR file with the meta-information that is not read by PhotoScan to support@agisoft.com?
