hide points

It would be handy to be able to hide selected, or unselected (isolate) points when editing a point cloud.

Hello bisenberger,

Do you mean sparse or dense cloud?

Hello bisenberger,

Then it is already available in the latest 1.4 version: see Tools Menu -> Dense Cloud -> Filter by Selection / Reset Filter options. If you use them frequently, you can add custom shortcuts to these options.

Hello Alexey,

I'm struggling with this problem also.

I managed to hide everything from the dense cloud except my selection with this method. However the thing that i'm trying to accomplish is that I have a model of a building that has a lot of points inside the the model and it seems to affect the mesh that i create.

If i try to filter by selection i still get big parts of the walls and roof and cannot access the dense cloud points very well. If i could for example select the points of the roof and then hide them i would get easy access for cleaning my model from the inside.

Is this somehow possible?

I wonder if you could make use of manual assignment to LiDAR point classes?

Hi Alexy,
I was on the road for a bit and didn't get a chance to test it until now. Excellent! that will make cleaning up hard to get at places a lot easier. :)
Thanks,
Bill
