Error building geometry v9.1
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:36:01 AM »
Aligning gave a very good and accurate results.
But I felt weird building geometry errors.
what is it?
The latest version of the program.

This pre-release is considered as unstable and is not recommended for production use.
Please let us know if you have any problems using this version. OK

The new version became a Kermit in Gonzo

Indicates a very serious problem here.
happens when we combine the pieces.
Then the final result is a complete madness.

Hello,

Thanks for reporting.

Could you please specify the reconstruction parameters used?

The problem is how to build geometries.
But just in case you were connected before chunks.
In my opinion there is an error in the algorithm aligin chunks.
What is strange is the fact that the aligin chunks all looks very good.
The points are in place. as it showed up.

Hello kris3d,

So it is the result of merging chunks geometry or building geometry for aligned and merged chunk (without geometry merging)?

if I use the function align chunks., version 9.1.
This mesh generation, ends in disaster.
  align the results look good.
In the picture you can see the result.
This same process works fine in the older version 9.0.
