orthomosaic without GPS -- default coordinate system is epsg:4978?

Hi,

I processed some images in PhotoScan without any GPS data: no markers, no GPS info within the images. I was still able to export a nice orthomosaic. I noticed the orthomosaic automatically picked epsg:4978 as the CRS. Does PhotoScan always pick epsg:4978 as the default?

Hello William,

Which projection plane option have you used during the orthomosaic generation?

Also were you exporting via File Menu or using Batch Process option? In any case, which format and coordinate system have you selected?

 Ah, I see. I had accidentally set the chunk.crs to epsg:4326. Now, I set chunk.crs = None, and rebuilt the orthomosaic. This time, it exports properly with a "local coordinates" coordinate system. Thanks for the help!
